Established with the principles of 21st century global operational standards, using dynamic and modern approach to employing the law as a social engineer to professionally providing long lasting solutions and full proof protection for it’s clients.

The firm was started by Foza, Iredumare Opeyemi and Olumide Mustapha, to cater for the legal and business services need of the media, cyber and entertainment industry in Nigeria and Africa at large. The Firm since its inception has represented the biggest stars of the media, cyber and entertainment industry in Nigeria and Africa some of which includes The Sarz Academy, Odunlade Adekola, Timaya, Linda Ikeji Blog, Incubation Factory Entertainment Limited. Foza served as the Managing partner of the firm between 2014-2020.

Foza and two of her colleagues at Green Light Music Publishing, filed a precedent-setting copyright infringement claim on behalf of several clients, including Puffy Tee, a Nigerian singer-songwriter and record producer. The legal action was against “one of the highest-grossing Nigerian movies of all time.” The suit claimed Puffy Tee and other composers were owed 100 million naira ($256,000), a considerable sum in an industry where film production budgets average about $40,000. The parties eventually settled the case out of court for around 2 million to 4 million naira ($5,000-$10,000).

While the settlement was modest, Fawehinmi’s lawsuit proved a turning point in the battle for music composers and producers’ rights in Nollywood. Nigerian entertainment lawyers say they are not aware of any infringement claims made and settled before the 2017 case.
